A recent article on Futurism investigates a firm named AdVon that seems to be spearheading providing articles with fake writers to leading publications.

The company seems to have developed an AI model named MEL and used articles it created for well known publications like Sports Illustrated and for product reviews on USA Today. They have been published with images and profiles of AI generated profile images of non-existing writers.

AI landscape is rapidly changing and entrepreneurs as well as corporate senior management needs to be aware of changes happening in order to both avoid pitfalls and make use of the benefits before their competitors.
